Today one of my college friend told me about Getmooh which is a free automated call back service. It let you get out of situations by calling you at a pre-specified time with a recorded message so that you can make a quick excuse and escape. Now that is what the service says about itself. Coming to the ways it can be used its upto your creativity.

You can create a account by specifying your mobile number. A password will be sent to you as an SMS. Use this to login into your account and schedule calls. Remember one thing that your number will be speaked out at the end of the message. You can even send then your own recordings to be included in the list. Go ahead and give Getmooh a shot.

It can be a great deal for the following ways:

  • If you got a boring lecture and you want to irritate the hell out of your lecturer, then you can use this to buzz him/her every now and then. (Make sure you have opened the account with a number which your lecturer can’t trace) :D
  • Make a plan to buzz every friend attending the class (Many time it happens that one of them has forgotten to switch to silent/vibration profile). It becomes a hell lot of fun when someone’s cell ring in the class.
  • Wish Happy Birthday in style. 8-)

If you got any evil idea in mind, share with us so that I can add it here.

I was able to create a account but when I placed a call, I didn’t received a call back. Maybe its a glitch with my carrier. I have mailed Getmooh about this and will update the post accordingly. Till then leave your response in the comments by letting us know if it works for you? How cool you find the concept? Pretty familiar with Bollywood movies. Isn’t it? Have your say in the comments.

If you are trying to call to an existing number, sorry I have no idea about that but you can communicate via Gtalk on both ends. There are other services like Skype also but I have never used them. Go and try yourself. This is the time to explore. :)
