Google Analytics doesn’t need any kind of introduction. It is one of the best analytics program I have ever seen. By default, it is configured to show the results of last 30 days and we are unable to view live hits. I came to know of a little trick about viewing your live traffic with Google Analytics and thought of sharing it with you but it slipped out of my mind. Sorry for that. And now that I have recalled, here is a simple trick that you can use to view live hits for today.
Whenever you want to see custom traffic reports, you click on the arrow which is on the left of dates and then you can select the duration for which you want to see reports. If you just click on today’s date and then click apply, Google Analytics will just show the traffic updates of today.
